The official route opens with a demanding Sondrio circuit, keeps stages 2 and 3 in punchy terrain around Locarno and Bad Ragaz, then gives specialists the 23.8 km Aarburg time trial before the Villars-sur-Ollon queen stage loops over Col de la Croix for more than 4,000 metres of climbing. The organizer also frames 2026 as the first edition with the women’s and men’s races built around largely parallel route designs.
